On a sad note, just before i wrapped up the shop,Betty Shop Cat,that reknowned scourge of all things canine, picked on the Wrong Dog-a wopping great big greyhound...betty is now scampering in the summerlands chasing angel dogs...she is sadly missed as not only i but hundreds of customers adored her.her picture has been taken thousands of times and over the 16 years she was resident in my studio she received many letters & presents from adoring fans around the world.she reached the ripe old age of 17...(tho the vet thought she might be older) and gave much pleasure and joy to all who knew her...... unless you were a dog. in her heyday betty had been known to make grown rottweilers wet themselves in the street when she flew at them, screaming like a banshee before giving them 'what for'. she was a terror and a delight and i miss her. MORE NEWS!! i shall be in residence at my friends shop on steep hill every monday from 13th february 2012-t'the pot shop'is situated at 16 steep hill-almost opposite my old studio-great pottery by andrew macdonald and a good range of my animal pottery, cards(come on a monday and i can personalise them)paintings and prints
